Mas de Daumas Gassac Blanc 2023
£46.50
We are very proud to have Mas de Daumas Gassac’s wines on our portfolio. Having believed in making wine in what was a farming county many decades ago, their belief in the region paid off with them proving the soil and terroir could make outstanding wine. Now generations on, they are well regarded as the ‘first growth of the Languedoc’ with their flagship, complex Estate wines and now a much more affordable everyday range.
The 2023 vintage was a notably dry year in the region, but thanks to the unique microclimate and the meticulous care of our vineyard team, the grapes ripened slowly and healthily, achieving perfect maturity with exceptional freshness. Enjoy it now to experience its striking minerality and complex fruit aromas over the next two years. Alternatively, with 4 to 12 years of ageing, it will evolve into a rich, layered wine with notes of honey and crystallised fruits.
We highly recommend you open the bottle an hour before serving, decanting will encourage it to express its full complexity.
