A well-established winery in the region, Bodegas Chaves started a new project in 1965 in Rías Baixas, focusing on producing world-class Albariño using sustainable farming methods. The grapes are harvested from old vines planted on the highest hill of Cambados, the most prestiage site facing the Atlantic Ocean. This unique terroir results in a wine that is refreshingly vibrant and fruit-forward, with a distinctive salinity imparted by the region’s maritime influence.
This Albariño boasts a bright, straw-yellow colour with a hint of green. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of citrus fruits, white peach, saline, and delicate floral notes. The palate is juicy and refreshing, with a generous mouthfeel, waxy texture, pleasant structure, and mouthwatering acidity.
