Babylonstoren’s Nebukadnesar is their top wine, a Bordeaux inspired blend. It is rich, grand and intense with a nose of violets and thyme, intense blackcurrant and underlying cigar-box. On the palate, it shows superb winemaking skill to achieve the balance of vibrant multi-layered dark red fruits supported by tight, well-honed tannins. It has seen ageing in oak which gives the opulent and sophisticated, long, compelling finish. Satisfying now, but this Nebukadnesar wine will age for at least another 10 years a true flagship expression of the Babylonstoren Nebukadnesar legacy, crafted with precision and power.
