Saint Olive is the first urban winemaking wineries in Lyon, producing hand-crafted wines on-site. They exclusively use local grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Viognier, Gamay, and Syrah. The fruits are carefully selected from seven estates located within an 80-kilometre radius of the winery.
The 480 Gamay is a modern take on traditional Beaujolais. It has a vibrant, powerful nose with some spiciness, cherry compote, cedar, liquorice, tobacco box, and spicy black fruits. Mouth-filling, delicious Gamay, and fantastic for money.
