Jean-Louis Chave has a gift for crafting absolutely transcendent Hermitage. This is partly achieved because the Chave family owns the best parcels in Hermitage and St Joseph, from which he blends with unparalleled skill. He’s quite rightly a Wine Icon and undoubtedly one of the few top producers in the Northern Rhône.

The 2018 vintage has a fresh nose of strawberry, jammed cherry, and leather. The palate has ripe tannin and a juicy acidity. A wine to enjoy from the historical Jean-Louis Chave.
