Château de Beaucastel has long been regarded as one of the greatest wineries in France, notorious for its elegance, poise and ageing potential. Beaucastel has an exceptional terroir at the Northern point of Châteauneuf du Pape, exposed to the cooling Mistral wind which provides such balance. All thirteen grape varieties of the Chateauneuf have been organically grown since the sixties; without a doubt, Beaucastel is a name we are proud to highlight and an organic wine icon that many have learnt from.
This outstanding Chateauneuf Du Pape Blanc offers loads of orchard fruits, brioche, crushed rock and buttered citrus in a medium to full-bodied, elegant, pretty style. The wine displays a bright, clear yellow colour, with undertones of white gold. The nose shows a buttered character, brioche, and a mix of white flower notes, peach and apricot. A wonderful wine that opens with a sharp and lively attack, but not too much. The palate is balanced and complex, with a good persistence supported by a slight salinity.
