Vintage Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape 2010

£120.00

Château de Beaucastel has long been regarded as one of the greatest wineries in France. Their exceptional terroir at the Northern point of Châteauneuf du Pape, exposed to the cooling Mistral wind which provides such balance. All thirteen grape varieties of the Chateauneuf have been organically grown since the sixties, a pioneer in organic and biodynamic viticulture.

Deep ruby in colour, the 2010 Beaucastel is both powerful and poised, with aromas of red fruit, blackcurrant, blackberry, and wild Provençal herbs. The palate is rich and concentrated, showing layers of fig, cherry, and stewed fruit balanced by lively acidity and silky tannins. Complex, elegant, and beautifully structured, this is a standout vintage built for longevity.

2010 has all the right growing conditions to produce an exceptional vintage. This is a rare opportunity to experience Beaucastel at its peak, already cellar-aged and ready to enjoy.
