Château de Beaucastel has long been regarded as one of the greatest wineries in France. Their exceptional terroir at the Northern point of Châteauneuf du Pape, exposed to the cooling Mistral wind, which provides such balance. All thirteen grape varieties of the Chateauneuf have been organically grown since the sixties, a pioneer in organic and biodynamic viticulture.

Deep ruby with purple hues, the 2020 Coudoulet displays a vibrant bouquet of red fruit, spice, white pepper, and subtle toasted vanilla. The palate is full-bodied and plush, brimming with flavours of black cherry jam, balanced freshness, and velvety tannins. Elegant, harmonious, and beautifully long on the finish, this is a Rhône blend of real finesse.

Outstanding quality from the Perrin family, often called a “baby Beaucastel” for its depth and quality.

Description

Grape(s): 30% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah, 10% Counoise, 10% Terret Noir, 3% Cinsault, plus 7% addition of white varieties.
The Grenache and Cinsault are fermented in cement. The Syrah and Mourvèdre fermented in large oak foudres.
