In the 1990s, in the Resende area of Portugal, José Manuel Correia began his journey as a grape grower, supplying the region’s leading Vinho Verde producers. With deep pride in his land and a commitment to quality, he nurtured his vines year after year. Over time, he began keeping back a small portion of his harvest to vinify himself, and in 2022, Vale Mercê was finally born.
This Vinho Verde opens with bright aromas of lemon, grapefruit, and delicate floral notes. On the palate, zesty citrus and juicy stone fruit dance over a backbone of vibrant, balanced acidity, leading to a crisp, elegant finish. Light, refreshing, and effortlessly drinkable. Perfect for a sunny afternoon or an easy aperitif.
