Moulin de Gassac Viognier
£12.00
We are very proud to have Mas de Daumas Gassac’s wines on our portfolio. Having believed in making wine in what was a farming county many decades ago, their belief in the region paid off with them proving the soil and terroir could make outstanding wine. Now generations on, they are well regarded as the ‘first growth of Languedoc’ with their flagship, complex Estate wines and now a much more affordable everyday range.
A superb example of versatile Viognier that is full of fruit, the nose is intense and complex with notes of apricot and mango, white flowers and a touch of nuttiness. In the mouth it is jam-packed with flavour; stone fruits, apple, pear, exotic fruits and a gentle lemon note is carried to a long finish. Round in the mouth but still with a defined freshness. This is the perfect easy drinking style that is characteristic of the everyday Moulin de Gassac range.
