Locals call Roberto Ghio a “wine philosopher” — the seventh generation of his family to craft wine in Gavi. His organic-certified vineyards sit in a unique corner of Piedmont, where soils have been shaped by centuries of exchange between inland and coast, and the vines are brushed by Ligurian sea breezes. The result is a Gavi with unmistakable character.

This Gavi shines a pale lemon colour with greenish hues. The nose brims with citrus, pear, and a touch of exotic fruit, while the palate is savoury and mineral-driven, with the crisp freshness that defines the region. Perfect as an aperitif and pairing with shellfish, or delicate white meats.
