The Vrignaud family has been a beacon of precision and elegance in Chablis for decades, having long championed organic practices. Guillaume, fifth generation at the helm of the estate, decided to create a special range, named after his great-grandfather Georges Deschamps, following a purely natural approach in the cellar.
This 1er Cru Chablis has been harvested from a small single vineyard (‘Les Vaupulans’) located in Fourchaume. It offers layers of complexity and richness further enhanced by prolonged ageing on lees and in older oak barrels. It presents notes of lemon, almond oil, golden apples, and a hint of local honey, all underpinned by the characteristic Chablis acidity and structure. It is a wine that’s both precise and sumptuous.
