Fondo Antico from the Polizzotti-Scuderi family have 80 hectares of vineyards located in Contrada Portelli, in the Trapani area of Sicily. The family has owned the estate since the early 1800s and began producing wine in 1920. Tradition, heritage, and an understanding of the terroir are what create the beautiful wines from Fondo Antico. Grillo is a historic grape variety to Sicily and known for its herbal flavours.
Bright aromas of grapefruit, thyme, and white flowers. While the palate showcases a mouthwatering acidity and fresh long saline finish. A perfect alternative to your typical Pinot Grigio!
