Château de Beaucastel has long been regarded as one of the greatest wineries in France. Their exceptional terroir at the Northern point of Châteauneuf du Pape, exposed to the cooling Mistral wind, which provides such balance. All thirteen grape varieties of the Chateauneuf have been organically grown since the sixties, a pioneer in organic and biodynamic viticulture.
Ruby and vibrant in the glass, the 2005 vintage opens with spicy aromas of pepper, garrigue, and bay leaf. On the palate, layers of leather, beeswax, and dried herbs unfold with refined structure and supple tannins. A graceful, harmonious Beaucastel with impressive depth and ageing potential.
