Interesting fact:Miraval’s connection with the arts runs deeper than an association with celebrity; it’s in the land itself. Home to the iconic Miraval recording studio, the estate once hosted French jazzman Jacques Loussier. This creative energy permeates the estate, a soul-infused backdrop for cultivating grapes with purpose and passion.
Miraval’s wines
Miraval’s vineyards lie on dramatic dry-stone terraces at around 350 m elevation, mid-slopes of the majestic Sainte-Victoire massif. These limestone-clay slopes benefit from abundant Mediterranean sunshine tempered by the cooling Mistral wind and sharp thermal shifts, creating ideal conditions for crafting wines that balance elegance with structure and freshness with depth.

Famille Perrin, the family behind the renowned Château de Beaucastel and Miraval, is known for their deep-rooted respect for terroir, sustainable farming, and intricate blending. Miraval roses are refined, and carefully crafted in each winemaking step.
- Night Harvest: Grapes are carefully handpicked at night and kept cold until pressing, so fruit aromas remain fresh and vibrant.
- Temperature-Controlled Fermentation: After a gentle press, the juice is fermented at low temperatures to preserve purity and fruit-forward aromatics.
- Short Lees Ageing: Once fermentation is complete, the wine is briefly aged on fine lees. This adds mouthfeel and complexity without overshadowing its crispness and elegant finish.
The result is a beautifully balanced wine with pale salmon colour, with a nose of strawberry, citrus zest, and delicate florals. On the palate, it delivers crisp red fruit, think fresh strawberries and white peaches, supported by a minerally backbone and lively acidity.
Miraval Sainte-Victoire Rosé is designed for light, vibrant cuisine. It pairs beautifully with:
- Grilled seafood (prawns, scallops, whole sea bass)
- Mediterranean-style salads (tomato, cucumber, olives, herbs)
- Herbed goat’s cheese or Provençal tapas like tapenade and ratatouille
- Light pasta dishes featuring fresh herbs, olive oil, and seasonal vegetables
Its fresh acidity and summer fruit flavours enhance rather than overpower delicate dishes, making it a versatile choice on warmer days.
Miraval’s Rosé goes beyond the typical “Provence pink.” With its sunlit, artistic terroir, rigorous temperature-controlled winemaking, and a strong sense of provenance, it brings both elegance and authenticity to the glass. Whether enjoyed on a terrace at sunset or alongside a Mediterranean-inspired spread, it offers a memorable, well-balanced sip that reflects its unique story.
