One of the reasons people love merlot is that it wears its heart on its sleeve. You know what to expect, it delivers, and it’s bloody delicious. Rouxvale’s merlot is medium-bodied, fruit-forward, moreish and quaffable. It’s not the most complex version you’ll find, however, at this price point, it delivers well above what you would expect.

Being fruit-forward, on the nose and in the mouth it is a big explosion of a variety of fruits, a big forest fruit salad. Red berries, apple, strawberries, blackberry just to name a few. The crispness and acidity is long lasting and balanced, as are the tannins, and you also get a touch of well-integrated oak.
