The Wanderlust project is the winemaker having a go and turning his craft to something different, a path of the unknown as discovery – exactly what we are about! Piquette is a technique used to make a lightly fizzy, low alcohol easy-drinking summer quaffer. It is produced by rehydrating Sauvignon and Chardonnay grape skins into water and then pressing again, fermenting and producing a light spritz naturally in the bottle. At only 7% it is the same as many ciders or IPAs.
Straight from opening, you are hit with a punchy of fizzy raspberry, fresh rhubarb bite, sherbert and lime with a touch of wild strawberry leaf herbaceousness. Refreshing, different and brilliant in the British sunshine! Open slowly and carefully using a beer bottle opener.
