Kistler is synonymous with the best Burgundian efforts from Sonoma-California producing wines with incredible precision, measured richness and age-worthy elegance.
The Kistler Natalie Pinot 2012 is certainly that; gracious and elegant, it has expressive aromatics with softness and tension at the same time. A sense of ‘lift’ and lightness yet with tons of presence in the mouth. Dark cherry, plum, and spice are interwoven with a savoury mix of dried herb, cherry and wild berry flavours. Supple in texture, graceful in balance.
We only have one bottle of this wine, sold to us by a collector who drank the other 11 bottles from his cellar.
