Chateau Malherbe is a well regarded, 5th generation certified Biodynamic winery located in Provence. The Malherbe terroir is located beneath the Cap Benat on a brown clay-schist soil. The climate and the nature of this soil allow the harvesting of concentrated berries that give full and complex wines: a perfect match with gastronomic dishes. The unique characteristics of the Malherbe terroir, and more particularly the presence of schist, brings minerality and a very nice aromatic balance.
“Madame Ferrari” is the estate’s top red wine displaying a bright, pale, ruby with magenta accents. The nose is elegant, with a complex bouquet of combination of rose and peony petals, blood orange, red fruits and smoke. The palate is gastronomic, with ripe tannins and intense notes of plum, cranberry, liquorice and violets. The finish is long lasting and lingering.
