Made from fruit produced from (minimum) 50-year old cabernet franc vines. 30% of the wine is aged for 18 months in used oak barrels. This is the house expression that the property prides itself in showing, as experts in growing cabernet franc grapes.
The wine has an intense red colour in the glass, with aromas and flavours of raspberry and blackcurrant. In the mouth, it is balanced with soft tannins and a long finish. Pairs well with red and grilled meat and stews. A superb example of Loire red wine.
