Marlborough is more known for its world-class sauvignons, but they make other grapes there too! The Caythorpe Riesling is a great example of New Zealand’s expression of this versatile grape.
Is it a light straw colour and has a nose of peach stone, blossom and lemon zest. The mouthfeel is crisp but with some texture. Flavours of white peach, lime and a touch of nectarine sweetness sit alongside its crisp minerality. Great with or without food!
