Marlborough is more known for its world-class sauvignons, but they make other grapes there too! The Caythorpe pinot noir is cold climate pinot noir, full of fruit at a fantastic price point.
Ruby red in colour, it has a big bouquet of red cherries and red fruits. On the palate is has balanced sweet and succulent red cherry and berry flavours accompanied by herbaceousness. It has a refreshing and juicy mouthfeel with generous weight and gentle tannins. Quaffable and moreish!
