Owners Lorenza Sebasti and Marco Pallanti have been making wines here since the 1970s, around the hamlet of Ama, perched 450-550 metres above sea level. Castello di Ama is known for their commitment to excellence, which they believe begins in the vineyards. This is shown through respect and care for the land, manual processing of the grapes, and very low yields per acre to produce world class wines!

The Bellavista is a stunner. Dense, powerful and forbidding, this single vineyard Chianti packs an immense punch. This single vineyard is famed as being the most floral and elegant offering from the winery, alrernating between muscular power and grace. Intense aromas of red fruit, graphite, sage, crushed rocks, lavender, mint and dried herbs all wrapped around silky tannins and bright acidity. A phenomenal wine to drink now with tremendous aging potential.
