The Blackbook Winery Rose is again, fruit sourced from a lovely part of England that achieves optimal ripeness for pinot noir, the Crouch Valley in Essex.
The wine is fermented in old French oak barrels although does not hold much oaky impression. It is a very light examples of English rose with flavours of red cherries, crunchy berries and cranberries. Fantastic for aperitifs and with food and a great addition to the few high-quality British rosés out there.
