Babylonstoren’s Sprankel MCC (Methode Cap Classique) is the only sparkling wine produced by the iconic South African estate. Made from Chardonnay grapes carefully selected from different vineyards, this is a traditional method fizz with elegance, structure and great ageing potential. It will maintain freshness and a refined finish for years to come.
Vibrant and crisp, the wine is fresh and well-balanced with very fine bubbles. It has a gentle aromatic profile of tropical fruits, apples, lime and grapefruit, supported by a mineral backbone and soft acidity. The finish is long, with delicious biscuity notes.
This will pair perfectly with poached salmon, cheese, shellfish (especially crab), caviar or seafood dishes with light, buttery sauces.
