The long-awaited moment has arrived… Decanter has finally announced the results of its annual Retailer Awards, rewarding the best in the wine industry. It’s with great joy and gratitude that we share the news: we have won both 2022 Best Midsize Online Retailer of the Year and runner-up Best USA Specialist Retailer of the Year!

It’s with great joy and gratitude that I share the news that we have won both Best Midsize Online Retailer of the Year and runner-up Best USA Specialist Retailer of the Year!
To be recognised at the top of our game (again for the third year running) is truly incredible, especially to be up against competitors who are much larger in size and have been around a lot longer.
Wanderlust Wine’s purpose remains the same; to connect our customers to smaller family estates and their superb wines, ensuring the price for all parties is fair. We love that our customers care about provenance, where our wines come from and how they are made (without chemicals and using traditional methods).
Some of you have been loyal supporters from the beginning and would have seen the fast-paced journey. From the initial concept when it was just me, to where we are now which is a team of nine people, importing some of the world’s best wines from iconic estates that others only wish they had access to. Having received ‘Best Small Online Retailer’ for the last two years, and now to have won this midsize award, truly cements six years of extremely hard work. Work that is focused on crafting a long-term, sustainable concept: to have a world-class wine selection that is easily accessible and easily bought – with no nonsense.
It’s with heartfelt and humbled thanks to every one of our customers. What a way to enter the festive season!
Our team is now gearing for Christmas, which includes our big Christmas tasting in London on 1 December (tickets are available here). I hope to share a glass with as many of you as possible.
